Bilateral Thigh Lift
A bilateral thigh lift addresses excess skin and fat on the front and outside of each thigh. During surgery, Dr. Freund creates incisions on the outside of each thigh near the bikini line. The size of this incision depends upon the amount of excess skin and fat each patient has. From these incisions, Dr. Freund lifts and removes excess skin and fat, then tightens and re-drapes remaining tissues before closing each incision. This type of thigh lift not only lifts the sides and front of the thighs, but can also provide some lift to the buttocks. This technique results in the most visible scarring, but can achieve the most dramatic results.
Medial Thigh Lift
A medial thigh lift is similar to an inner thigh lift, but employs slightly different incisions. Medial thigh lift incisions begin at the groin and extend through the inner thighs, reaching back to the crease underneath the buttocks. Through these incisions, Dr. Freund can lift the inner and back thighs, remove excess skin and fat, and re-drape the remaining tissue in a more taut, lifted position.
