About The Practice

Facilities

Our office on Manhattan’s Upper East Side is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and certified by the AAAASF (American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Facilities).

Our PAL (Power Assisted Liposuction) and Ultrasonic Liposuction machines offer the latest technology for body sculpting. Our endoscopic equipment allows us to perform minimally invasive procedures so that scarring is as imperceptible as possible. Computer imaging is an exciting way to view possible outcomes and an excellent way to show me your vision of how you’d like to look.

For those interested in having their procedures in a hospital setting, I am affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital or The Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital.

Patients

My expertise in plastic surgery of the face, neck, breast — and especially with difficult revision surgeries — has attracted patients from the 50 United States and across the world from countries including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lithuania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, and Venezuela.

How I Work

Consultations can begin by sending a brief history, a list of concerns and photographs to me at office@robertfreundmd.com. All communications are confidential. Through email we can formulate a care plan. Please keep in mind that all surgical plans created in lieu of an in-person consultation are subject to change.

For out of town patients, our staff can help arrange hotel, transportation, nursing care and everything else needed.

For more information, please contact our Out-of-Town Coordinator, Aimee at 212-583-1200.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a consultation fee for Dr. Freund?

Yes, and that fee is later applied to the cost of the procedure I perform.

What is the cost of surgery?

Each procedure is unique and has different fixed costs. Our board certified anesthesiologist charges based on the average time it takes to perform a procedure. There is also a facility fee which includes nursing at the facility and supplies. Overnight nursing at our hotel is a separate charge.

What is included in the cost of the procedure?

It includes the procedure and all postoperative visits — most patients will visit our office monthly up to six months after the procedure. It is rare for a patient to require further follow-up; however, related follow-ups are free of charge.

What are the costs for revision surgery?

I perform all revision surgery related to my own procedures without charge. If anesthesia or an operating room is required, additional fees will be charged.
